Well we have been in our new house for about 7 weeks and we have been very busy trying to make it a home. I have taken special interest in the backyard and have been working hard there. The first picture is of our yard before my work commenced. While it is a great space we wanted to utilize it more, we needed a patio!
So I began to dig, and dig and suddenly we had a sunken patio that is finally taking shape. The walls are from the local stone, some found in the yard and others plundered from the mountain. We are trying to grow grass and are planting wild flowers and ferns for a truly woodland feel. Anyhow, please let us know what you think and when you are coming up to see it for yourselves.

It looks great. We need to plan a trip up there, when we are not sooo busy. Take some more pics, I'd love to see the inside of the house too.
