Day three of the girls being back in school. My house is pretty clean now, but not yet perfect. I have yet to get to the outdoors. There is much sweeping needing to be done. I continue on my vegan diet, trying different combinations of fruit in my smoothies. I am lamenting my diminished supply of greens today and will need to talk Franz into a trek to the store for more.
As I have more energy and more hours in the day, I find I hover and annoy people. Who knew a day could be so long! Eloise has been going to school with her hair done - by mom. Franz has a shadow behind him at the computer saying "are you done yet?". Unfortunately I need the computer and it's space to paint so will have to wait till he gets this book proposal off and papers graded. The proposal is nearly there. I have edited several sections of that today and have started reading a new book which is starting out pretty good - Ghostwalk by Rebecca Stott.
I have been playing customer service for our publishing and am ready to put more time into that. In fact, I'd like a project of my own, have a title in mind, if I can get Franz to procure a copy of the text.
I think I shall get on the wii fit before the girls come in...
Next on Potter Paraphernalia:
What to do with cracked wheat.
The hornets at the hummingbird feeder.
Franz starts to lose interest in zombies.

Hurray! so happy to hear you are back in it "full time". I have been dragging considerably, maybe I need to go vegan, too? you are a trooper.
I'm exhausted! I don't think I can go vegan though-just ate a bunch of cookie dough. I'm reading Tess of the D'Urbervilles. Have you read it? It's so tragic!
Wow, my mom was telling me about your new diet and how much energy you have. The power of food is amazing. Glad to hear you are feeling better. So WII- eh?
All the best with the publishing. Let me know if you need an extra hand. :)
I've been on a smoothie kick too. Plain yogurt, frozen strawberries and one small banana...yum!
I've told people about your transformation...it really is amazing. I'm glad you found your own way!
You also have much more will-power and dertermination than I do...good for you.
Nikki,
Did you watch the first part of Tess on Masterpiece Theater last Sunday? Second part this week.
Will power, no, when it is a matter of being part of my family or spending life asleep, I will eat what it takes. This week has been hard though - hormones running amok and really craving meat, cake, cookies all the bad stuff. Have not given in yet!
