Run Day

Well Done Franz, Heidi and Hunter! Franz ran his first 5k in under 36 minutes. Heidi ran her first 10k and did very well even if she does not think so! Hunter ran the 10k and won first place in his age division. Above he is with the boy who took second (sorry it is so dark, my computer crashed as I was starting to edit, it is very finicky right now). It was a fun day with the cousins and the weather was cool for the runners (a bit too cool for us normal folk).

Sunday the Hunters came up the mountain for some food and fun. It was so nice to see them again - after a long hiatus. All the kids got along so well and it was really a nice afternoon, though again, rather chilly.

Today, trying not to molt (foul mood), trying to be productive and hopeful. Trying.

Well Done! to all the runners

Hope you feel better - I'm rather pissy myself this week. Something in the air?

Thanks Serena. I'm glad it's over as you well know.

We had a great day with you guys and can't wait for next time!

What was the run in aid of? I don't think of Franz running - probably because whilst here he always had his nose stuck in a book - for obvious reasons!

This was his first run - so no, you would not think of him running. He enjoyed it though and has plans to do another next month. Money raised from the run went to the local homeless - people who's homes had been foreclosed on. There are many families living out of their cars.

Have extra pounds Stirling? It is a good time to invest in property here! You could get a little place, rent it out...
