Last Day of Solitude

This is my last day of solitude and though it has been really nice to have uninterrupted time to paint it has also been really hard not having anyone to talk to at times. Yesterday a sister from the ward gave me a ride to our grocery store to pick up a few things and she followed me around the store asking me what was on my list. It was very nerve wracking and I ended up not getting milk - which I really needed and not getting anything fun because I didn't like having someone looking over my shoulder. There is something to be said for either having shops within walking distance or having a car. One could feel pretty stranded at our house.

So, since there is no one at home for me to say "look what I did today!" to; I will look to you for my affirmation. Look what I did today! I call it "American Dream".

I love it. I love old bath tubs. You must have pumped out a bunch of paintings this week. They were all so good! I wish I could paint.

Thanks Heidi,

Someday I'd like a tub like that.

Well, that's my dream, to have a bath like that. Lovely painting, Serena.
