Good times

Eloise allowed some of her locks to be chopped for the new school year. How cute!

Hamish tickles Eloise's nose...He is doing well and is now potty trained while in his cage and will usuallyhop back into his cage to use his litter box, but if out too long will forget and we will find some raisins under the chair or behind the televsion. We are finding that he wants to dig holes in the rug. This is not acceptible to me, so had Eloise take him out to the sunken patio today, where he had a great time chewing on sticks, leaves and digging in the gravel. Good move.

Serena,
Yes I will agree with you that this is a bit freakish! : ) I too have never met any other LDS Shirley's. I'm quite thrilled! My husbands parents are converts. They joined the church when Brian was 5. 8 Shirley boys later, my Mother in law new her hopes for a daughter was not going to happen! All 8 of the boys have gotten married in the San Diego Temple as well. There are now 12 grandsons and 12 granddaughters! My husbands grandparents are Eva Faye and Edward Percy Shirley. They are from Alabama and Texas. We have done some genealogy that is on a gedcom file somewhere at family search.org. We have not gotten across the pond yet to England, and we know that's where the line is headed. Have you been the the Shirley Family Association website yet? They have found Shirley lines from Ireland. So, who knows where are line will trace back to!
I also admire your married name. I know this has nothing to do with anything but I and the rest of my Shirley fam are huge Harry POTTER fans! What a cool last name to have! I know that must sound silly and juvenile. I checked your site out too. You have very beautiful girls. My oldest girl Madeline is 8 and little Charlotte will be 1 next month. What part os CA are you guys from? My husband is an Oceanside boy. We still have one brother that lives out there and a lot of extended family on both sides.
Anyway, hopefully we can maybe find out if we have the same Shirley line. That would be so neat. Well, take care and I hope to hear from you soon.

Later....Michelle

I am not at liberty to say what the cake is for, but MaCall did tell me I could post the picture. The rest is up to you to figure out...
