Thursday and all is well. We are still at the Jackman's and are so greatful for their hospitality. The girls are having a great time with their cousins. I have purchased some yarn and am attempting to make another hat. We are still waiting for our insurance cheque to arrive for the car, so have not made much headway in that direction, just sort of floating. The good news is though...

Threat Significantly Reduced to Crest Forest Fire DistrictUpdate 2:00 PM
According to the Crest Forest Fire District, "the two major threats to the Crestline, Twin Peaks areas have been significantly mitigated. Agencies involved are working on creating a re-entry plan for the safe areas of Crestline."

So, we are probably not yet included in the "safe areas" but soon. It sounds good and our house should be fine if no one has looted - which we hear is a problem...

Hope you are all well. We really feel for those who have lost their homes or have more reason to worry. I hope at some point we will be able to offer help.
