Okay, I've continued my quest to crochet - combining a hat fetish and love of vintage buttons. By the way, if you ever see
neat old buttons at yard sales or thrifty shops, pick them up for me! So, above is a floppy tam using some old buttons from my grandmother - I've had them in my sewing box since I was a kid. Below is a little lemon hat for a baby shower I am attending tomorrow. She is having a boy. I use basic patterns for the body of the hats, then embellish.
MaCall and Eloise had friends over today -
MaCall now loves to be outside all of the time! We drag her in at night. She and friend Mandy were learning a song for a stake talent show.
We are hoping for a good November. Cross your fingers, light a candle, say a prayer, toss a coin in the fountain, whatever it takes. I can't take any more stress!

Your hats are so cute!! I've never had the patience to crochet, so it's fun to see what others can do.
I used to wear hats all the time...not so much anymore though it would be fun to have for the cold holiday season (hint hint).
Cute baby hat too!
I love the hats! Again, talent. Not here. None whatsoever
