Well, today was a surprise. Franz woke up with stomach flue or food poisoning - not sure which, but he has not even been able to suck on an icecube without throwing up. Franz rarely ever gets sick. I can look back over our marriage and count the number of times he has been sick. He is very pathetic today. To top it off, he is supposed to have a root canal tomorrow. The specialist is only in twice a month and they don't care if Franz is sick or not - will charge us if he does not show. His tooth is in pain but he can't take any medication - because it won't stay down. Poor poor pathetic Franz. On top of Franz being sick, Eloise is sick too, only hers is different, head ache, sore throat and has been sleeping all day.We are expecting about 17 people throughout the day on Friday - Mom and Steve, Johnny, Amanda and the girls, Heidi and her kids, John and April. I need everyone well! I am cleaning and making everyone wash hands!
MaCall and I have been planting flowers and raking leaves. We have also made cookie dough to put in the freezer - to have on hand.
Have good thoughts for Franz and Eloise - my sick bed buddies.

Get well, get well...there is NOTHING like the flu. Everybody needs to be well, I wanted to take some pics of the kids in the beautiful scenery. The question now is...how are YOU doing. There is nothing like being the caregiver to sickies!! Stay well, and tell Franz and Eloise we are wishing wellness their way, and then tell Franz to try to do something better next time to try and get out of a root canal. I know you Franz--good work, but still not enough to fool the rich dentist.
Franz left early this morning for the dentist and says he is feeling better. At least his illness is usually short lived, though dramatic while it lasts. Eloise is still aching all over - no stomach stuff though- just hurts.
I'm okay, just remember it is trash day. Better get on that.
glad Franz is doing better. I am so sad they haven't been themselves. it does seem these things pop us at the worst times. if there is anything I can do let us know! just printed the directions, excited to see you all. I do need your phone number though, just in case - email me? thanks!
Maybe Franz will give the dentist the horrible stomach bug and then the dentish can pay!!
