The New BBC Jane Austen Series starts tonight on Masterpiece Theatre. The first to be broadcasted is PERSUASION. I can't wait! Can anyone record it and burn it for me? From the reviews I have read Northanger Abbey is the best. It is well time to re-make that one. Ah, life is good!

oh I thought Pride and Predjudice was the first tonight! we are going to be at a stake meeting tonight and will miss it - if you get a copy I'd love if you would share!
I have set my DVR. It will make a lonely night better.
Okay, Captain Wentworth was a dish, but the camera focused far too much on Anne's open mouthed, dumb looking face. I don't know why he continued to pursue her. She never said anything, just sat there looking dumb. Don't get me wrong, still enjoyed it, but won't go down as a favorite. Next time is Northanger Abbey - which I read was really good.
I recorded it on our DVR. I'll watch it tonight. I loved the book-we read it for book club last year.
I loved the book too! It is one of her best stories. I think they could have done this better though.
I didn't like this Anne as much as the film version. And I didn't like the ending as well, but over all it was well done. Can't wait for next week.
That kiss at the end! We were all laughing, it was so slow and so icky!
wow you all nailed it. I only saw the last 30 minutes, but was dying with EWWWWWW! Wentworth was yummy but Anee ruined the whole union. oh well, just have to read it to get that icky kiss scene out of my head - her mouth just looked like a giant fly catcher after all that running!
