Winter storms

Eloise checks to see how much snow is at the door.
She gives Hamish a hug...
The winter view of Lake Gregory - on my walk to the corner.
It took Franz hours to dig out the car. Eloise and MaCall used trash can lids to sled down the drive.

If you stop and wonder, where are the Potters? Most likely our cabel is out, or the power is out. The storms have been amazing. We have had more snow than we ever expected. We now have our routine down for when the lights go out - gathering the flash lights, and candles, starting the fire. Saturday Franz's cousin Bev, her husband Chris and three kids came up for the day to play in the snow. They had fun surfing down our drive way. Today the Hunters came up to experience some winter. The power was out when they arrived, but came on after Doug chopped the remainder of our wood. We enjoyed a blustery afternoon and a fabulous dinner by Michele - see her food blog.

wow I haven't seen Bev in years. How fun to have so many visitors. Hope your staying dry.

I need to get my brakes fixed before we can come up--the front brakes are too shaky too risk it right now in this weather.

Have a great day. I already added you in to view my blog btw.

It looks like we're enduring the same kind of weather! I can't wait for spring!
