In the spirit of change, I had my hair cut. Next I think I need to go a little lighter for spring. What do you think?
Our first daffodills have bloomed! We have a nice sunny spot in front where the snow has melted - still more than a foot in the back.
This little pansy survived being covered in deep snow. What a trooper!

love the new hair!!
are you melting? I'm sure you are probably ready for that?
The snow is melting, but it will take a long time for the house size burms to go.
wow, darling cut. I like your color though. that is a fabulous photo of you - you should paint yourself, it would be a fabulous portrait. and love the new footies, from an earlier post - one of these days I will learn to crochet. I keep repeating that to myself and then all I do is my dishes. glad you have blooms! I am so looking forward to a little more thaw and color too. happy almost spring!
Cute hair cut! It looks really good on you.
Very nice hair. Its amazing what a little haircut can do for your day - its like the flowers wouldn't have bloomed without the new hair do!
Are you guys doing any campaigning for Obama? This is a very interesting election. I just hope Hillary doesn't get it. Go Obama!
Unfortunately not much is happening on the mountain - San Bernardino has one of the lowest voting rates in the state so candidates avoid it. There is an office down the mountian (only candidate to have one in the county) where we have picked up literature, bumperstickers, yard sign etc. I hand those out when I can. No visibility up here really. We do not have a land line just a cell phone so phone calling is a challenge. We did attend a house meeting - first one on the mountain in 25 years!
