Franz and I watched this last night. Some very good points are made. Interesting that in France the government is afraid of the people so tries to please them, here we are afraid of our government so we just give in to their whims. A baby has a better chance of survival in Slovenia than it does in America. Here we profess to be Christians but we don't want to take care of our own. I'm all for socialism. He interviews people in countries who are paying taxes to have all of these services but they are DEBT FREE! They don't have student loans, they don't have health bills, they have paid sick leave, in home help after babies are born - free. Their doctors are rewarded for having healthy patients, not for saving money. Their doctors never have to think of money when it comes to treatment, just what would be best for the patient. It is time for us to change. I no longer feel I was born into a privileged country. I feel we are in shackles.

I'd heard that statistic before, that the U.S has one of the highest infant mortality rates. So scary! I'm interested to watch that movie.
interesting points. It would be nice if our country could operate that way.
Amen!
