Stress

Times here are STRESSFUL!!! I won't go into details, but I am really feeling it and when I get stressed I go out in the back and work. Our backyard is really coming along but this giant planter has been a problem since we moved in. It is big...huge in fact...loaded with shrubs. With the snow melted I decided now was the time to act. Armed with a sledge hammer I turned this eye sore into this---
I am happy with the way it turned out though the oak must have been massive when the house was built. The archeology that we discovered in our dig amounts to this: 4 Coke cans from 1972, three Budwiser cans circa 1972 and a sugar free A&W Root Beer Can 1972. Quite interesting!

In the meantime I finally completed the path from the drive way to the porch....I think it looks good. I gues stress is useful, though I wish I did not have as much.
If that was not all, I have started a stone wall between our house and the neighbours. It looks good and has potential. I am now driving aimlessly about the mountain looking for the appropriate stones which also gets me out the house...goood I guess.
Anyhow, now that everything is taking shape we encourage all to visit us (but not until next month)...why the hell not? You don't have any excuses....you have been invited and there is a lot of work to do.

We'll for sure come up next month. Hope Serena is doing better. The outside looks awesome, I love how the wall turned out. Now between you and Darin maybe we can both get our walls browncoated.

Franz - it looks great! I am super impressed with that monstrous planter "thing" - you done good. The brick path also seems to be timed well with MaCall's participation in Oz!
