A few more pics from our weekend

I've been so busy painting and framing - getting ready for the "Portal of Art and Life: art, music and wine festival" this coming Saturday, that I don't have much to say. If you feel like a drive to Hesperia, I'd love to see you at the airport - 12 to 6.

I love this shot with the seaweed - may find that in a painting...

Also, I'd never seen so many blooms on a cactus - the humming bird was very happy. Here are a few more shots with Mom and Steve.

The update on our car is that it may be ready tomorrow, it will be $400 more than expected - of course - with the additional cost of the rental car. Sigh.

The garden up date is that my freesias are in bloom - very pretty. I have lovely large peaches and cream roses. The lawn is coming in well and Franz has been resourceful in using old pavers, broken in to tile sizes, and made a long raised planter for my pumpkins. Must have pumpkins. Something has been munching on my pea plants. I'll have to try and net them or something.

Hope you are all well.

I love that seaweed photo - would make a great painting, definitely. And cool that you got a picture of a hummingbird! They are so fascinating.

Great photo! I'm sorry we missed this weekend, It came up so quickly that I forgot all about it. Sigh. One of these days we will have to stop being so antisocial. Good luck at your show.
