bird fun

There was an entire flock of these little guys bouncing in and out of the sprinkler, having the best time today. They were so happy. Michele do you know what sort they are?

Definitely finches. We have a finch feeder outside our door and it's the most happenin' place in the neighborhood these days. We keep trying to get pictures but they're nervous little guys and they don't let us get too close..

I did not know that finches came in yellow. They are cute. They liked our sunflowers too, would sit on the branches of the leaves.

Hi,Mrs.potter!
It's Jieun.
Do you remember me?
I'm so sorry for that I could not send you letters for years.
Actually, I've lost macall's home address and E-mail address,so I couldn't keep touch with you.
Recently, I remembered macall and eloise but I lost her address!
So I searched google with word 'macall eloise' and finally I found you blog! I'm soooooo glad that I found you guys again.
I hope to keep in touch with you.

p.s. I saw Macall's recent pictures. It's so glad and Can you send me macall's address once again?

Great photos! That must have been fun to watch. Now I want a finch feeder outside our living room window! Sven and Brynja would love to watch them.

How are you?

They are probably a finch called a lesser goldfinch. The females have dull yellowish green underparts and greenish olive upperparts. The males will have a black cap and brighter yellow on the underparts.
