Martin Luther King
Happy Martin Luther King Day! Franz went over to Brett's and helped load up his scrap wood etc. and made a trip to the tip, then Brett came over here and helped us load all of our scrap stuff onto his truck and take it to the tip. Who would have thought we had this much? And you know, we still have more.
I woke up all phsyched to make orange juice - see all of those oranges? Well, my braun citromatic decided to bite the dust! Very sad. Yes, it was over 20 years old and had lived a good life, but why today? I guess it saw all of those oranges and stressed out. I'm thinking of replacing it with one of the manual press types. Do any of you have experience with these? I thought that way they would work in the event of an emergency - you know, power is out and you must have fresh orange juice...
So yesterday the Hunters came over. We had fun socialising, eating Moroccan food - I was in a mood. All was good.

I've never tried a hand-presser, but I imagine it would be really good arm exercise. I'd go for it.
hand presser works fine i've used one.
mood? good or bad?
can't wait to come up and see you guys. i'll call you.
In the mood for Moroccan.
Mmmm. Love Morrocan food! Did you make it or is there a local restaurant you can get it from? Hope you got rid of your junk and cleared up some space! Making juice never occurs to me. I'm not much of a juice person and neither is Mike, or the kids for that matter. So I don't know about what kind of juicer to buy. Maybe you can find something cheap on Craigslist!
Craigs list! Good idea. I'll check that.
I cooked Moroccan chicken (only had a taste it was good!), yellow rice, tabbouleh salad with lots of cucumbers, green pepper and tomatoes, we had fruit, hummus, flat bread. And of course, greens.
wow! I alsways thought a mood was a bad thing, apparently it's good if it involves morrocan food. ;)
