This week we had a visit from my long time friend Laura Olesen- Berge and her husband Rick. Laura and I have been friends since 6th grade. Here we are at Big Bear Lake.

Four artists! We saw a bald eagle while drawing. MaCall spotted it first. It was beautiful soaring over head. Later in the evening Laura and I went for a walk up our street, we were chatting with one of our neighbours when a large racoon slunk down the street looking for food. That was my first racoon sighting. The neighbours, Karen and Joanne (from England) told us to beware of a certain bear that is fond of our street while their fruit trees have ripe fruit - now. Last year they found him sitting on their porch. Hm. It was a fun busy week.

Luckies! I don't remember ever having been to Big Bear. It looks like you all had fun!
what a fun time. you always find interesting things to do. when are you guys coming down??? we can't wait to see you again, oh and old navy called and told me they are waiting for our credit cards.
