Summer Fun
Well, it is actually hot here in the mountains today. It is another brilliantly sunny, clear day with blue skies and giggling girls. Now that School has ended and the girls feel liberated, they have time to just relax and be themselves. Oddly enough that means incessant giggling, screaming and loud booming pop music. Strange, Serena and I have both made efforts to influence our children's music taste (one with folk music like Nanci Griffith and the other with alternative bands like TOOL) but unfortunately they seem to really like pop music. Well, we know there could be worse things than Hannah Montana and the Cheetah Girls, but we won't go there.

looks like fun! my kids don't get a summer this year, due to some bad timing of a track change. October will be their summer. But anyways, we'll have weekends.
Nothing like relaxing in your own backyard. Can't wait to see you in ours!
