Today we adopted a dwarf bunny! A lady in our ward posted an e-mail saying her daughter had
received the bunny as a graduation gift from her boyfriend, but is off to college and can't take it with her. So Franz wakes me up and says here, talk to them. Now we have a bunny. He is very sweet. I let him out and he ignores Lucy altogether. She is very curious, sniffs the bunny tail, sniffs it's nose, then jumps back when it twitches. The bunny ended up stretched out under our bed, with Lucy stretched out on the other side watching. I think they will be good friends. Did you know you can train a bunny to use a litter box? That is our next goal.

I love your bunny, so cute. When we were engaged I was super big time into anything "bunny, rabbit" so Darin bought me 2 holland lops. They were so fun and cute, until the female killed her babies. We didn't know then that you had to seperate them for the birth of the babies. Aahh, young love.
You guys are nuts.
So when are you coming down for a visit?
When are we coming up for a visit?
Cute! What're you going to name him?
We are arguing over names. I want Hamish, Franz is good with that - it is a boy - we think- Eloise wants twitch (sorry animals need a little more dignity), MaCall wants Yaz (after The Penderwicks), that may work, but for now we are mostly saying "Bun bun, get out from behind the washing machine!"
Bun Bun is cute! I wish the bunny had been there when we were there for the party! It looks very cute. Though, for the rabbits sake, it's probably better that Elias hasn't met it yet!
I'm for Hamish. That's perfect for a rabbit.
Hamish and Lucy - sounds like a perfect pair of pets. Love that you plan to house train hime. Keep us aprised of how it goes!
Sure its cute but does it eat gophers?
I have a feeling the gophers would eat him! They will eat anything! And by the way, the sonic spikes used to scare them off, don't work. $30 down the drain.
too bad law enforcement frowns on the use of shotguns in heavily populated areas.
Oh my gosh, he is SO cute!
