It's begining to look a lot like Christmas!

Friday we had heavy rain all day. It was wonderful. I could hear the cedar trees next to our house drinking deeply and sighing in happiness. Saturday we awoke early to the sound of hail sending nails at the windows and wind wipping at the shingles. Later we drove to the High school for another round of Nutcracker and stopped to take this photo. Very pretty.
This is a creative shot taken by MaCall - Chocolates in action. We are now done with the Nutcracker. All shows sold out. I really did not believe it would happen and because of this Michele and Addy did not get to see the show today. I feel badly about that. Next year perhaps. The star dancers - Sugar Plum fairy and her Prince were brought in from the Providence Ballet in RI. They were very good. Eloise's teacher played the Nutcracker and his various forms. He is from Brazil and is also very impressive. One of the Spanish dancers was an elerly man - still a very good dancer - who was trained by Rita Heyworth's father. Wow! Next year you must all come!

Hello Potters. We are sorry also that we did not get to see the show! It sounds like it was wonderful. What a fun way to start off the holidays. I'm sure Eloise is exhausted! Next weekend Amber will be in town. We'll have to figure out a visiting schedule?
