Eloise had a fantastic talent show last week. She and her friend Julia were stand up
comedians. Really! Eloise spoke up loud and clear. One of their skits involved Eloise walking out on stage and singing out the names of various countries "England, France, Germany, Canada" etc. Julia starts shouting at her from side stage "Eloise, what are you doing? Get off the stage, what are you doing?" Eloise replies, "I'm singing country". Ha ha.
Yesterday Franz and I went to Joshua Tree National Park with friends Nick and Annette. It was beautiful.
Unfortunately they have uploaded several cameras worth of photos onto our computer and is messing up my program so I can't turn this around!
This little guy is ready to find a mate - evident by his blue spots.

I have always wanted to go there. Are Nick and Annette staying with you guys? Are they traveling the US? HOw far is Joshua Tree from your hous? Maybe we'll go next time we're down there.
Eloise the little comedian--how fun! Joshua Tree? How long did it take you? We need to pick our date to go camping there real soon. Darin has some trips coming up so I want to be sure and go before it gets too hot!

Any time Heidi. Joshua tree is about two hours from us, not very far at all.

Wow! Eloise is gutsy! I would have never been able to pull that off, especially at her age! I'm impressed.
