Time for family and reflection

Today we joined my brother John and sister in law April in bidding farewell to her mother Mary Wilson. We felt priviledged to be able to join the mourners. Mary was a completely selfless person who spent her live serving others. Hearing about her life made me reflect on mine. One can't help but think, what will they be saying about me when I die, but then I imagine someone like Mary never thought that at all, so I fail from the get go! At the least I can make an effort to be a better person.

Mason was just strawberries and cream today. I wanted to eat him up! Addy and MaCall played violin.
Michele and Mason take time out to feed. I was fortunate enough to have wonderful nursing experiences. I cherish those quiet times with my babies.
Who is that smashing family? Oh, that be us!

April and her brother Al take shade under a parasol. Here are April's nieces, and a nephew, darling girls.
Here is "grandpa" John and Elias.
Afterward we found a tiny taco place in Perris (nothing like it's name sake) - that was quite good (Heidi, I'll give you directions!) and had delicious fruit water - not sure how they made it but used fresh fruit and it was so good, yummy fruit Popsicles too!
It was a good day.

I've often pondered that too (what will people say at my funeral). That's really nice you got to attend Mary's funeral and see the family. I'm home alone with a sick boy today-Julio's gone to San Fran to a Bar review and Lucia is at a b-day party. :-(
