Eloise is turning 10!

I did an amazing thing yesterday. I actually got caught up on Eloise's scrap book. Well, let me quantify that. I decided in order to not be overwhelmed I'd start by just doing the birthdays. As tomorrow is Eloise's birthday I thought I'd share some of my favorites. The top is 6th birthday in New Hampshire. The next was a bug party in Girloy - in the midst of a move to Thousand Oaks, age 7. The next is a swan lake party for age 8, in Thousand Oaks. That was a really fun one. Then last year was the "butterflies for Eloise"party here in Crestline. She sure has moved around alot. One thing I noticed about all of these pictures is that with all of our moving she always bounced back. Always has a group of friends and is the center of attention! She is a sweet, fun girl and I am proud of her.

This year's birthday will be a little sad. All but one friend are on vacation or at camp. This is MaCall's first time not being here for her sister's birthday. So, Julia will come over tomorrow. We will go to the miniature golf place in Riverside, come back and have cake etc. Franz is going to have the girls make pulled taffy (we need to experiment for a church activity). Julia will spend the night and that should make it a little more fun. Eloise will not want for gifts, but would have liked to have more friends here. I think more than anything Mom is upset at not being able to do her big theme party. I love parties - if you have not noticed. I did attempt a cool cake. It did not turn out Martha Stewart, but is cute.
