Well, the first week of school is over and we have survived. Nearly. I have had a terrible cold, cough, gooey, achy thing since last Saturday. The girls started on theirs around Wednesday. They are now in the thick of it. Whatever "It" is, it sure wears me out more than usual. We have been relying on this stuff to ease the pain.
Here is Hamish and MaCall after his sit bath. He is such a handsome boy.This week has been two steps forward three back. Money comes in, more goes out. It is very annoying. Franz started the week growling like a bear, now he is throwing the phone around. The car needed repairs today, the flex spending card was not accepted at our Rite Aide, the phone is giving us terrible service. Oh, we have seven minutes left on the phone after Eloise had five phone calls with a friend. She is banned from phones, computers and friend for the weekend.
All in all, best not to be at the Potter house right now.

I think maybe we'll head up another weekend...we have a bbq here with family on monday and today will be spent doing chores. i'm with you about money...it stinks the way it rules our lives.

I'm not that sure about Dayquil. I too wondered how can it be "day" and PM at the same time? Perhaps it does not have the knock you out drugs?
I'm with Megan. Isn't Dayquil PM the same as Nyquil??? I hate colds. We have had our fair share here. And I'm dreading winter. But at least this one I won't be pregnant. We have more money going out than in too. Did you know daycare costs us over $1600 a month? And Little S's first 6 months in daycare, I had to take over 20 days off because he was so sick? I got every single cold too...it's terrible!
Okay, spoke to a pharmacist friend today. Dayquil does not have the alcohol that nyquil has. The PM will still knock you out with benadryl like stuff, but not have the 10% alcohol. Now we know!
$1600 a month! That is terrible.
