The weekend

Eloise's combined 5th/6th class had their fundraising car wash yesterday - to earn money for science camp. The poor kids were freezing, but out car looks good.
This is the position MaCall has been assuming lately. Perhaps she takes after me? I sure hope not. I think it is just growing and hormones. Wow, that bottom is so round it makes you want to spank it!

Franz worked on cleaning up the terraces, grading papers, dealing with egotistical academics, playing virtual football with Bret, and making pumpkin cookies. I slept, ate, slept some more, watched Widows Peak (a movie I somehow missed), it was good, and then watched It Happened One Night. I had forgotten just how good that one is. It is just funny and Claudette Colbert is so cute. Clark Gable is in his Rhett Butler form. Love it. Netflix's watch now is a great thing, especially now that we have wifi and I can take Franz's laptop to bed with me.

Good to hear the car wash went well for Eloise! MaCall's doing what I wish I could do at the moment, but work awaits me. Hope you are all having a good weekend. Pumpkin cookies sound good; I assume they have chocolate chips, too.

Oh-MaCall is a teenager-that's what they do when they're home-sleep. Pumpkin cookies sound good-did you use pumpkin from your garden? Recipe please?

MaCall is a typical teenager. I remember feeling like I could never get enough sleep! (Hey, I still feel that way- but I truly don't get enough sleep with the baby -hah!hah!) I would love a recipe for pumpkin cookies- sounds yummy!

I have a recipe that is much better than the one Franz used. Michele has a yummy recipe too! I'll look it up.
