This Stuff

Desperate for something to help the rash and itching I've been having on arms and legs, I bought some of this stuff. It is wonderful for your skin! I have never in my life had such silky smooth feet and knees. After just a couple of days all the rough spots and callouses on my feet just rubbed off. I put it on after baths, showers, and at bed time. Love it! The best part is it is under $5 a jar!

Yes, cocoa butter has been my go-to lotion since I moved to Utah. There's nothing like it for keeping your skin hydrated.

Is it greasy? Like, would I only put it on before bed, or can it be an all-day-long lotion?

I tried using cocoa butter on my belly while pregnant because it was so dry and itchy! Anyway, I totally had a bad reaction to the cocoa butter and my belly itched WORSE THAN EVER! I thought I would go crazy! (Probably how you feel with all the itching BEFORE cocoa butter, Serena!)

I'm so glad it's working for you. I now use shea butter for my cracked/bleeding hands - a creamy hand lotion with lots of shea from l'occitane, and it works wonders (only at night Megan)!

Ooooh, great tip! Does it make your skin look younger too? That would be miracle cream!

Megan, it is greasy, but not for long, your body soaks it in. I can use it after a shower in the morning and in a few minutes I'm ready to slap on the clothes. Just do your hair in a bathrobe!

I tried a sample of shea butter today, it peeled the skin on my hands off. ICKY I wonder why such a different reaction to that than the cocoa butter?
