E-Mail Down

For some indeterminable reason our zittaw e-mail is not sending or receiving. If you need me you can try Serenamuse@gmail.com

Our first snow is on the ground - not much- but looks pretty. I am still trying to sort out the humming bird situation. Each time I reason that it is safe to remove the feeder (which now has a layer of ice on top) I find a bird using it. Today there was a lovely humming bird - different than our usual summer variety. It's red throat was much deeper in color - an iridescent maroon. There were also interesting large animal tracks going across our porch. Not sure if it is coyote or Raccoon. The coons are big up here.

Eloise spent the night throwing up. Franz spent the night cleaning up. What a trooper! He really is the best of men.

Before this Franz and I attended our ward Adult Christmas party. It was very nice. They really went all out for the decorating, had catered food - of which I ate the green salad, sans cheese or croutons, and a small amount of baked potato and some apple pie. Not really worth the splurge on the pie. It made me feel sick. Today I am making up for it by drinking an oat groat, almond milk and strawberry smoothie. I actually found myself craving this in the night. Strange times.

The next of the storm is predicted for tonight. I am hoping it will melt enough today to put Hamish out in his run. I don't like keeping him cooped up (pun intended) in the house.

Best to all!

Serena
P.S. Santa, I'd love that tea kettle! It's by Martha Stewart, available at Macy's or Amazon.

[That post deletion is my doing. Corrected a possessive noun error.]
Sorry to hear about Eloise's bout of illness; something she had to eat, perhaps? Sounds like you are prepared to endure the snow storm, all cozy in your nice place with your beautiful tree adding the perfect touch. We are bracing for a -13 by Monday evening. The high tomorrow will be about -2, with snow predicted for most of the week. May you all be safe and stay warm!

I would like a copy of that picture on the upper left hand corner of your Blog. That IS the girls isn't it? ( Forgive my English error!) I tried to see it closely and couldn't quite make it out. Can't wait to see you. How is Eloise and how are the rest of you??? It's raining and cold here but thankful for the moisture.
