Yesterday our dead bolt on the front door decided to jam shut, so we were required to go in through a front window - far too easy. I will remember to lock those in the future. So, Franz is now putting in the new lock. If you have keys - toss them. We will have new ones now.
Along with the door lock breaking, the printer has died again. We had revived it, but it gave up once more. What a pain! One can not live without a printer when school projects are due! This is something we really did not want to invest in right now.
Well, the big snow is still predicted. We have the cooler covered, have moved the radial saw, suitcases and other yard things next to the house. The new door shoe is on and has lots of suction so hopefully no water will blow in under the door this year. I had hoped for new front windows, and a new slider - double glazed, but that too will have to wait till more cash is in the anty.
Tonight we will bake goodies to take to the neighbors, read Christmas in Noisy Village and sing the Twelve Days of Christmas. Thanks to Michele for this great idea of activities in the advent. Ours are hanging in little cloth bags on our garland - each day an activity, reading and song and little prize - lip gloss today!
Happy Holidays!

Help!!!
Franz' email won't work either!
We are in the beginnings of what they are calling the biggest storm in five years - it must be affecting the internet. E-mail isn't working from our end either. We are battening down the hatches! It is supposed to last through Thursday.
